Memphis Police say seven teens detained after a large fight Thursday afternoon at Jackson and Macon have been issued summons to appear at Shelby County Juvenile Court.
Two teen girls were injured during the fight that involved nearly 30 teens.
Of the seven teens summoned four are females ranging in age between 14 and 17, police said. Three males ages 15, 16, and 17 were also served summons. One of the teens was issued a summons for disorderly conduct, while the other teens were summoned to juvenile court for assault, police said.Police said the officers responded to a Simple Assault call at Jackson And Macon in front of Best Pawn at 3202 Jackson.
A security guard advised police that the female victim, two teens, and a 34-year-old, were in a car and a group of juveniles from a nearby bus stop charged the car. The doors to the car were opened and a fight started. The witness advised that several juveniles were fighting all over the parking lot.
