For the second time in six weeks, Cosby attracted wide media attention with public criticism of black youngsters. Cosby was cheered on Thursday when he told a group of black activists in Chicago that young African Americans are the "dirty laundry" that many would prefer he not criticize despite their poor grammar, foul language and rude manners.
"Let me tell you something," Cosby, one of America's most admired men, told the group. "Your dirty laundry gets out of school at 2:30 every day, it's cursing and calling each other [the N-word] as they're walking up and down the street. They think they're hip. They can't read. They can't write. They're laughing and giggling, and they're going nowhere."
Cosby's comments, made during an appearance at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition's annual conference, ratcheted up a soul-searching debate among African Americans that began in mid-May when Cosby leveled similar criticism at blacks during an appearance in Washington. Those comments -- criticizing "the lower economic people" -- gained attention because it is rare for a celebrity of Cosby's stature to level such unblinking criticism of class and race. The discussion has been ricocheting around black radio talk shows and in newspaper and online columns since.

Cosby, who’s best known for his patriarchal role on “The Cosby Show,” is an outspoken Democrat. But over the past several years, Cosby has criticized President Obama for a range of “broken promises” and railed against entitled Americans for their “thuggish” behavior and incessant willingness to remain uneducated.
“I can’t even talk the way these people talk,” Cosby said. “Why you ain’t, where you is, who you be…Everybody knows it’s important to speak English except these knuckleheads…You will never get any kind of job making a decent living,” he added.
Cosby also censured welfare mothers for buying their kids $500 sneakers “when they won’t spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics,” so their children can learn to read.
“People used to be ashamed” of having children with multiple men, Cosby noted, but “Today a woman has eight children with eight different ‘husbands’ or men, whatever you call them now.”
Cosby called on black Americans to “do a better job” in society and take responsibility for their own lives. “We have to start holding each other to a higher standard. We cannot blame the white people any longer.”

(Dec 2013) Long video but Cosby speaks about drugs, Christianity, mentions Muslims and also notes "they aren't Christians you know, I am a Christian". He speaks a lot of profound truths in this video and it certainly goes against what the liberal/progressive agenda would want getting out. I believe he is paying a price for this. Those people who are charismatic and able to harness the powers of the crowd will be taken down when they don't tow the liberal line. Think Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, Allen West and those in the democrat party will be throw their own under the bus faster than conservatives because those on the left who don't tow their line on more dangerous to the masses they need to keep in check.
