Cruz supporters need to understand that because Christians in America have left the governing of America to everyone else, our nation is no longer a Christian nation. Our founding fathers did it all...worshipped God, took care of their families, fought a revolution to found the greatest country on earth, served in government positions to further support their principles of self governance and be the leaders that our newborn country needed. Somewhere along the way the Christian community decided to separate from themselves and live with the confines of their Christian Community which left a void of Christian leadership in our government at all levels. We are now paying the price for that.
We have to begin to reclaim our responsibility at an individual level to get involved with the governing process, especially at the local level. This means regularly monitoring and attending local government meetings and getting to know your leaders at least as well as you know pop culture and your favorite sports teams. We have to become leaders in this Godless void we have created. Then...and only then...will the country be able to elect a very principled and Christian man/woman.
For now though, the party system must be upended and the only man that can do that is Donald Trump. Change can only happen when the party no longer gets to dictate who gets to be the nominee or even or who gets to run for office. The party controls this and they don't want an overtly Christian leader leading them because they are not who we thought they were. Our founding fathers didn't fight and die for the Republican Party and neither should we.
Ted Cruz will be easier to Palinize than Sarah was because of stories like the one below.
Via Gateway Pundit
Cruz was introduced on the stage by Pastor Kevin Swanson – after he called for the execution of gays earlier at the conference.
Kevin Swanson: Yes, Romans Chapter 1 verse 32 the Apostle Paul does says that homosexuals are worthy of death. His words not mine! And I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! And I am not ashamed of the truth of the word of God. And I am willing to go to jail…
…Now my friends let me introduce to you the next candidate for the office of President of the United States, folks please make welcome Senator Ted Cruz.
That seems a bit extreme. No?
It ought to go over well during a general election… No?
Now an Islamic Scholar agrees with Ted’s pastor buddy and says “all gays must die.”
